A fast-growing inspection and quality control company is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Beirut. If you enjoy organizing numbers, keeping systems running smoothly, and making sense of financial data, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in making sure the company’s financial operations stay clean, compliant, and up to date. Here’s a view of your responsibilities:

• Keeping accurate daily records of transactions (inspections, payments, expenses, etc.) using Odoo.

• Preparing and sending invoices to clients.

• Tracking costs (like transportation, testing, and staffing) and allocating them across projects and regions.

• Reconciling bank accounts, managing petty cash, and ensuring timely payment of expenses.

• Managing employee payroll, social security, salary taxes, and employee records

• Creating monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for internal management.

• Ensuring full compliance with tax and audit requirements, and liaising with external auditors.

You’re Probably a Match If You Have

• Solid experience with financial recordkeeping and accounting software (bonus points for Odoo).

• A sharp eye for detail and a systematic approach to organizing data.

• Familiarity with client billing, cost allocation, and bank reconciliations.

• Experience working with VAT and other regional tax frameworks.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to follow-up (especially with receivables).

• At least 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in service-based industries.
