An exciting new American-style bakery and coffee shop opening in Naccache is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie – Cold Kitchen to join its culinary team.
The concept blends the comforting charm of a traditional American bakery—offering cheesecakes, cookies, and other baked favorites—with a modern coffee shop serving freshly prepared gourmet sandwiches and salads in a warm, welcoming setting.
Position Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the cold kitchen station, focusing on the preparation and assembly of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other chilled menu items served daily in the café. This role is essential in ensuring consistency, presentation, and timely service during operating hours.
The Chef de Partie will collaborate closely with the pastry team and service staff to deliver high-quality offerings aligned with the brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily preparation and service of gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, and cold café items.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and visual presentation of all cold dishes.
Maintain proper mise en place, cold storage practices, and food safety standards.
Keep the cold kitchen station clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene protocols.
Collaborate with pastry and barista teams to ensure smooth kitchen-to-service operations.
Follow standardized recipes and production guidelines provided by senior kitchen staff.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory tracking, and ordering for the cold section.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of professional experience in a cold kitchen, ideally within an international café, bakery, or coffee shop environment.
Strong technical skills in preparing and presenting salads, sandwiches, and chilled items.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform in a structured, high-volume setting.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in Arabic, with basic working knowledge of French and/or English.
A culinary diploma or relevant cold kitchen training is an asset.
