Pastry Chef - American House Bakery & Coffee Shop – Naccache – Ref: ARPC 250307
A new American-style bakery and coffee shop opening in Naccache is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to lead its kitchen operations. The bakery will specialize in cheesecakes, cookies, and other classic American baked goods, complemented by a warm and inviting coffee shop experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting concept from its inception and help define the brand’s culinary direction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily production of American-style baked goods, including cheesecakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, and seasonal specialties
· Develop and refine recipes that meet the brand’s quality and flavor standards
· Ensure consistent product quality, presentation, and portion control
· Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
· Manage kitchen staff, training, and daily workflow
· Coordinate with management on menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in professional baking and pastry preparation, preferably with strong background in American desserts
· Proficiency in cheesecake and cookie recipes, techniques, and presentation
· Strong organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
· Fluency in Arabic, with professional proficiency in French and/or English
· Certification or formal training in pastry arts is an advantage
Work Conditions:
· Full-time position with shift-based scheduling (to be discussed with the employer)
