Capacity-Building Workshop Delivered Through the Lebanese Red Cross Initiative

Bekaa Region

In the heart of the Bekaa region, we brought learning to life through a project implemented under the Lebanese Red Cross, focused on food processing and marketing. Over the course of the initiative, 56 agrifood producers came together to strengthen their skills, share experiences, and adopt better practices that ensure food safety and quality from transformation to preservation. Through hands-on capacity-building training, producers gained the confidence to improve their products, add value to local foods, and better connect with markets, contributing to stronger livelihoods and a more resilient agrifood sector in the region.
